Welcome to our ultimate Split Fiction Chapters Walkthrough guide! Split Fiction is an exhilarating co-op adventure bringing players into the intertwined worlds of two authors trapped in a simulation gone terribly wrong, Mio and Zoe. The symbiosis of sci-fi and fantasy and challenging puzzles make for a great experience with this game. Please dive in while we take you through the nuances of each chapter!

Chapter 1: Rader Publishing

And as the prologue unfolds, Mio happens to accidentally run into Zoe’s simulation pod at Rader Publishing. Once both of them revive in a futuristic facility, the first task is to take them to the terminal end of a corridor. And when they reach the end of that corridor, both players have to synchronize their movements in operating a console for the power to be drawn by a lift.

Moving platforms, narrow beams, and a malfunctioning laser turbine demand teamwork as players progress through the level. The chapter ends with a mad pursuit in Zoe’s world, where ogres chase them while climbing the tower to escape. If they make it to the top, they complete the level and set up the next chapter.

Chapter 2: Neon Revenge

On a bold move, Mio and Zoe are now cyber ninjas on a super-mission to disband a powerful crime syndicate. Opening in “Rush Hour,” players work through chaotic streets and puzzles using Mio’s gravity-defying katana and Zoe’s Gravity Whip. They have to battle Mr. Hammer, a jet-booted enforcer, in a high-energy duel and tackle his devastating attacks.

Chapter 3: Hopes of Spring

This chapter puts the players into a magical forest where Zoe and Mio unlock transformative powers to cross the woods. Mio uses her newfound ability of shapeshifting, changing form from a mighty white ape to crush obstacles to a lithe fish swimming across treacherous waters. Meanwhile, Zoe, the pixie in the sky, can fly and dominates nature at will as a large tree. Thus the chapter begins, with the two once again separated by circumstances, requiring them to use their powers to unite.

Chapter 4: Final Dawn

The protagonists have a heroic mission to infiltrate a huge toxic-producing plant to stop the facilities from functioning. The chapter begins with their freefall off a dropship, with the party making their way through to the facility. Along the way, teamwork becomes crucial, as one character uses shield busters while the other operates switches to bypass barriers.

Chapter 5: Rise of the Dragon Realm

Colossal dragons and ancient ruins illustrate this breathtaking yet dangerous world where Mio and Zoe find themselves. In the lair of the Dragon Council, they find that the dragons are divided on whether to support their quest for restoring balance or stand by Rader, their villain pulling the strings of their worlds. A dramatic encounter in the middle of the chapter sees Mio and Zoe having to unite to tame a dragon.

Chapter 6: Isolation

In this chapter, Split Fiction exposes the reader to emotions and culminates in the climax. Mio and Zoe confront “The Prisoner,” who turns out to be a dark manifestation of the pain Mio suppresses along with her insecurities. This dark version named Dark Mio represents her bottled-up trauma from the world and herself. The battle goes through several phases, combining platform jumps with combat mechanics, as the heroines hack down both the body and mind of Dark Mio.

Chapter 7: The Hollow

The imaginary space where The Hollow is leads the players into Zoe’s psyche: a really empty, dark space full of tall and eerie apparitions. Mio and Zoe wake up in a dim cavern where they are greeted by two otherworldly companions: a golden owl belonging to Mio that creates solid platforms and a ghostly fish swimming around golden items. The chapter culminates in a fierce fight against a hydra that signifies Zoe’s post-traumatic survivor’s guilt for her twin sister. As a result, the two are forced to join forces and sever the hydra’s head in a battle against despair.

Chapter 8: Split

Following the emotional high of the seventh chapter, the characters are now plunged back into their separate contrasting worlds. But, these two worlds coexist at the same time, displaying the particularity that what happens in one world has a real-time effect on actions affected in the other. It culminates in a breathtaking confrontation with Rader, the god-like figure who invades their realities. Then, he commands them to break the hold of that reality on Zoe and Mio and destroy his machine.
