Schedule 1 Mixing Guide: The Best Herb Combinations for Profit

Mixing herbs in Schedule 1 can get complicated, but understanding this system quickly boosts your in-game profits. This guide explains how mixing operates, lists the best combinations for every stage, and covers the calculation behind your highest possible earnings.
How Mixing Works in Schedule 1
Before using the best herb mixes, you need to know the system’s core rules. You can mix as many ingredients as you want, and you can mix items as often as you need. The main restriction is the eight-effect cap. No item can have more than eight effects at once.
Mixing effects is not always simple. Certain effects will override others, and some effects do not combine. For example, the cyclopian effect can turn into fogging when you add flu medicine, but only if foggy is not already present. Cyclopian also turns into thought-provoking with a banana, as long as that effect is missing. You can create cyclopian by adding a mega bean to energizing, or switch thought-provoking to cyclopian using a mega bean if cyclopian is not already on the mix. Every effect in the game uses this same type of “if-then” transformation system.
There are 26 positive effects and eight negative effects. Positive effects increase the final sale price, while negative effects add nothing to your earnings.
How Sale Prices Work
All herbs in the game use a base price of 35. To calculate the sale price for any mix, use this formula:
Base price × (1 + total value of all positive effects)
For example, shrinking, zombifying, and cyclopian are the highest-value effects at 0.6, 0.5, and 0.56. If a mix has these three, you add those numbers for a total of 1.66, then add one, giving 2.66. Multiply this by 35 for a final value of 93.1. Negative effects are worth zero and do not affect price.
Best Early Game Mixes
Single Mix (highest profit):
OG Kush + Mouthwash
Profit: $56
Addiction: 66%
A second option is Sour Diesel + Iodine, which gives $53 profit and 76% addiction.
Double Mix (best value):
OG Kush + Coke + Mega Bean
Profit: $71
Addiction: 72%
If you want maximum addiction, use OG Kush + Mouthwash + Viagra for $68 profit and 100% addiction.
Triple Mix for Mid-Game
To reach the best triple mix in the mid-game, combine:
OG Kush + Poke + Viagra + Mega Bean (in that order)
Profit: $83
Addiction: 100%
This mix produces the top profit possible using only three ingredients and sets you up for strong returns as you progress.
Late Game: Most Profitable Mixes
The ideal mix includes the following effects: shrinking, zombifying, cyclopian, anti-gravity, longface, electrifying, glowing, and tropic thunder. Right now, the game does not let you combine all eight in one mix. The best possible substitute is:
OG Kush + Addi + Chili Energy Drink + Battery + Horse Juice + Mega Bean + Viagra + Mouthwash + Coke
Effects: Glowing, electrifying, zombifying, anti-gravity, brighteyed, long-faced, cyclopian, tropic thunder
Profit: $110 (sale price $176, total cost $56)
Brighteyed will be present and cannot be removed with this approach, but you will get the highest sale value using the fewest ingredients.
Profit Optimization: Focusing on Preferences
Each buyer in the game likes different effects. The more you satisfy a customer’s preferences, the higher the sale price. You can push your profits even higher by mixing items that match multiple buyer preferences. If you fill all eight effect slots with a combination that two buyers want, both will pay far above the standard rate. This approach outperforms any single “one-size-fits-all” recipe.
The Highest Known Profit Recipe
For the highest known profit using herbs:
OG Kush + Paracetamol + Coke + Paracetamol + Gasoline + Coke + Mega Bean + Battery
Sale Price: $164
Cost: $34
Profit: $130
This recipe counts every ingredient and uses the lowest bud cost, maximizing your earnings with the most efficient mix found so far.
