Patch 7.35d – Biggest Changes Noticed

Having everything under control is hard, we know! But Valve is making some good progress. Remember when they made support items trash so that the game would speed up and allow carries to just kill everything? Well, they won’t make that mistake again, that’s for sure!

Anyhow, here are the most significant changes in Patch 7.35d!

Jungle Creeps Gold and Exp Changes

One notable change in this patch is the reduction in gold and experience gained from jungle creeps. Mud Golems and Satyrs, in particular, now provide less gold overall, while the experience gained from stacking has been slightly diminished.

While farming jungle creeps remains a solid thing to do, it’s now slightly less rewarding to do so. This shows that the Valve is trying to get people to engage on lanes and leave the jungle to roamers that love to create space during the landing phase.

Longer Cooldown on Some Items

Item cooldowns have also undergone adjustments in this update. Many items, including Shadow Blade, Black King Bar, Manta Style, and Magic Wand,now have longer cooldowns.

This encourages players to take longer breaks between engagements and be more deliberate in their item usage.

Additionally, Revenant’s Broach, a popular damage item, has been nerfed to prohibit attacks with Broach from being critical hits, directly impacting heroes like Phantom Assassin and Mars.

Another intriguing change is the ability to toggle Divine Rapier to provide either physical damage or spell amplification. While this might seem like a minor adjustment, it adds a layer of versatility to the item.

This totally chances how fights will work now. Either you get in and delete someone, or you don’t get in at all!

Hero Buffs and Changes

In terms of hero changes, Dota 2 patch 7.35d features alterations to about half of the hero pool.
