This allows players to bring the series’ characters and aesthetic directly onto the Rift, and make gameplay more enjoyable.

Most of the LoL Arcane skins released in 2024 and 2021 are now moved into the Legacy Vault. This means that these skins are not permanently available and can only be unlocked during special events. However, they are exceptions for Arcane Councilor Mel, who remains in the shop. Also Franctured Jinx, which uses Riot Game’s new skin system that is tied to gacha mechanics.

How to Get The LoL Arcane Skins

The Arcane skins are highly desired by the players, however, their availability depends on their release. You  can simply buy some of them with RP during vault rotation, while others require you to grind for Mythic Essence or investing in a gacha system.

Skin Type

Acquisition Method and Notes

Legacy Vault Skins

Purchasable for RP when vault opens for limited time

Prestige Caitlyn

Mythic Shop for 2,000 Mythic Essence, rotates seasonally

Fractured Jinx (Exalted)

The Sanctum gacha system with Ancient Sparks (400 RP each); pity at 80 pulls (~32,000 RP max)

Shimmer Lab Singed

Former event-only skin, not currently obtainable

Older Arcane skins go to the Legacy Vault. So if you missed them at launch, you’ll need to wait until Riot reopens the vault. The Prestige Caitlyn is the rarest, it’s only available through the Mythic Shop, which cycles skins every few months. Meanwhile, Fractured Jinx is one of the most expensive LoL Arcane skin, with 32,000 RP.

Which Arcane Skins Are Worth Getting?

Essentially, not all LoL Arcane skins are equal in terms of value or popularity. Arcane Commander Caitlyn (Prestige) and Arcane Enemy Jinx are the most in demand skins, with Jinx legacy skin frequently making the top list of most desired skin.

Meanwhile, Arcane Councilor Mel is one of the easiest skins to get since it’s still in the shop and you don’t have to wait for an event to get it. For skin collectors, Fractured Jinx is worth it since it has premium status due to its high cost and rarity.

Final Thoughts

The Arcane-themed skin collection in League of Legends is one of the most iconic and exclusive skin lines in the game. Since most of them are in the Legacy Vault of Mythic systems now, players who want to get them must be alert to Riot’s announcements. As Arcane Season 2 expands the storyline, it’s likely for more skins to release. With that, older LoL Arcane skins may return as well.
