THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive have released Alone in the Dark, a thrilling reboot of the survival horror title from the 90s. Prepare to enter the chilling world of Derceto Manor and confront the nightmares that lurk within.

In this reimagining of the classic, you’ll play as either Emily Hartwood (voiced by Jodie Comer) or the iconic detective Edward Carnby (voiced by David Harbour). Driven by the disappearance of Emily’s uncle, you’ll explore the manor’s twisted rooms, encountering terrifying creatures and mind-bending puzzles. Discover the manor’s sinister secrets and find out the truth behind the encroaching darkness.

Alone in the Dark pays homage to the atmospheric dread of its 1992 predecessor while embracing modern storytelling and gameplay. Its narrative is crafted by Mikael Hedberg, the acclaimed writer behind SOMA and Amnesia. The game offers multiple perspectives, allowing you to experience the terror through the eyes of Emily or Edward.
