Genshin Impact players have a new combat event to conquer with the arrival of Realm of Tempered Valor. Excited to show off big damage numbers and insanely clear speed? Genshin Impact Realm of Tempered Valor Event Details

Genshin Impact Realm of Tempered Valor runs from February 24 until March 10, 2025. Only players with Adventure Rank 20 and above can enter the event as long as they’ve completed Chapter Prologue: Act 3 – The Song of the Dragon and Freedom. While beginners can technically participate, clearing this new content is evidently geared towards players who already have a wide roster of well-built characters.

Mechanics and Special Buffs

Players will have to battle in five combat stages, each with 25 floors. What more, they have to clear each floor within 30 seconds to advance to the next one. The floors get progressively difficult the higher you go. However, you can skip floors in two ways:

  • World Level: You can skip lower floors and start on a much higher one based on your World Level. This will save you time and you can immediately battle enemies that match your characters’ strength more.
  • Clear Time: If you clear a floor with lots of remaining time, you’ll be able to skip several levels and go straight to a much higher one. For example, in floors 1 to 13, you can skip 5 floors if you have 25 seconds left after clearing a floor. The less time remaining, the less number of floors you can skip.

You’ll also get special buffs to aid you in the difficult Genshin Impact Realm of Tempered Valor challenge. There are three that you can use; one that needs the “power of friendship” and two that are single-use and you should be strategic about.

  • Friend Buff (Red): Gives you ‘Boon of Friendship’, which increases your party’s HP, ATK, and DEF by 25%, plus 200 Elemental Mastery if someone on your friendlist has cleared Floor 20 of that stage.
  • HP Buff (Green): Gives you a buff that restores 50% HP for your party after completing Floor 10.
  • Energy Buff (Blue): Gives you a buff that restores 50% Energy for your party after completing Floor 15.

You can also use food buffs to increase your damage of defense before combat. Before starting the challenge, casting support skills like Bennett’s ultimate may also save you some time to set up.

Event Stages and Recommended Teams

As every stage in the Genshin Impact Realm of Tempered Valor features different mechanics, different team compositions will also shine in them.

Challenge 1: Awaken, Sanctuary of Night Draped Spirits favors Natlan characters with Nightsoul Blessing mechanics. While in the Nightsoul Blessing state, characters receive a 150% DMG boost and release Pyro shockwaves when hitting enemies.

Recommended Teams:

  • Mavuika, Xilonen, Citlali, Bennett
  • Mualani, Pyro MC, Kazuha, Xilonen

Challenge 2: Traverse, Realm of Sudden Change boosts Melt and Vaporize reaction damage by 60%. Melt, Vaporize, or Frozen elemental reactions also increase your party’s ATK by up to 180%.

  • Mavuika, Xilonen, Citlali, Bennett
  • Arlecchino, Zhongli, Citlali, Bennett

Challenge 3: Ascend, Domain of Whirling Gales gives a massive 1,200% boost to Swirl damage. Characters who trigger Swirl get a 120% DMG boost and 400 additional Elemental Mastery.

  • Mavuika, Yumemizuki Mizuki, Ororon, Furina
  • Kazuha, Furina, Xiangling, Bennett

Challenge 4: Unburden, Source of Vengeful Spite boosts your active character’s ATK by 100% when they receive healing. Characters with Bond of Life status receive another 100% ATK boost.

Recommended Teams:

  • Arlecchino, Yelan, Zhongli, Bennett
  • Clorinde, Fischl, Kazuha, Nahida

Realm of Tempered Valor Event Rewards

For the ultimate reward which is the ‘Scorch’ namecard, the main goal is to clear 100 floors in total. So, even if you only clear 20 floors per stage, you can still get it along with other prizes:

  • Special Namecard: Scorch
  • Primogems
  • Guide to Contention, Kindling, and Conflict
  • Sanctifying Unction
  • Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Mora
