Rockstar Games has released the final major content update for Grand Theft Auto Online, introducing the long-awaited Kortz Center Heist across all supported platforms. The expansion marks the game’s first major heist since The Cayo Perico Heist in 2020 and serves as GTA Online’s last significant update before the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI later this year.

Kortz Center Heist Brings a New High-Stakes Robbery

The centerpiece of the update is the Kortz Center Heist, which tasks players with infiltrating the renowned museum and stealing its valuable exhibits.

Like previous heist expansions, the mission is divided into multiple phases. Players must first complete reconnaissance objectives, gather the necessary equipment, and finish several setup missions before launching the final robbery. Successfully completing the heist unlocks new rewards along with additional exclusive content.

The overall structure closely follows Rockstar’s established heist formula, combining preparation missions with a large-scale finale.

New Vehicles and Additional Content

Alongside the new heist, Rockstar has expanded GTA Online’s vehicle lineup with several new cars available through the game’s in-game dealerships.

Some of the newly added vehicles support drift tuning and can receive additional performance upgrades through Hao’s Special Works. The update also includes new cosmetic customization options and a range of general gameplay improvements.

Rockstar Shifts Focus Toward GTA VI

Rockstar has confirmed that the Kortz Center Heist represents the final major expansion for GTA Online before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI.

The next installment in the series is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has stated that the initial release will focus exclusively on the game’s single-player experience, with no online multiplayer mode announced for launch. The studio has also yet to reveal a release date for PC.

GTA Online has remained active for more than a decade, receiving several major content updates throughout its lifespan. Notable additions include The Diamond Casino Heist in 2019 and The Cayo Perico Heist in 2020. With the arrival of the Kortz Center Heist, Rockstar closes another chapter of GTA Online as attention shifts toward the next mainline entry in the franchise.
