Fortnite’s Stormtrooper Skin is Free — Here’s How to Claim It

How you can get the new First Order Stormtrooper skin completely for free in Fortnite. To do this, all you need to do is link a Disney account to your Epic account. All you will need to do is have a Disney account. If you don’t already have one, you can make one. I made a brand new one to get this skin. It distatic.aayyy.com/topic/dn/’t matter. You also don’t need to buy anything on Disney. You don’t need to have a payment method set up on Disney.
All you need to do is have a Disney account. Log into that through Epic and then you’ll be good to go. If you just wanted the simple explanation, that is it. If you want to know how to actually do this, that is now what is being explained because not everybody is as tech-savvy when it comes to this stuff.
How to Link a Disney Account to Epic Games
To begin linking a Disney account to an Epic account, log into the Epic Games website. Go onto Google, type in Epic Games, and log in there. Then on the top right, go to “account.” On the left side, once account is selected, there will be a tab for apps and accounts. Click that.
Once inside that tab, there will be a selection of several different services that can be linked to the Epic account. Click on Disney. A new window will pop up where you can sign into the Disney account using email and password. Hopefully, everything works fine and easy.
There were some issues encountered during this process, and many players have said they had the same problems. Even with the correct password, the site would not progress to the next step. The password was definitely correct, as the account had just been created.
Fixes for Linking and Login Bugs
Some people weren’t able to proceed after entering the password and weren’t receiving an error. Nothing would happen, and it just woulstatic.aayyy.com/topic/dn/’t move forward. If this happens, select the option to get a code emailed. Put in the code that Disney sends to your email. That should allow login.
Even after logging in, the issue may continue where it says “success,” then nothing happens after clicking “continue.” It distatic.aayyy.com/topic/dn/’t link the accounts. If that happens, refresh the page. That fixed the issue for multiple players.
To check if the accounts are linked, go back to Epic’s apps and accounts section. If it says “remove” instead of “add,” the account is linked. Once linked, the Stormtrooper skin should be granted the next time Fortnite is opened.
If Fortnite was open during the linking, close and reopen the game. That allows the system to check and award the skin. Even if there’s no popup, go to the “recent” tab in the Locker. Some players received the skin but distatic.aayyy.com/topic/dn/’t see a notification.
Watch Star Wars Episodes Early in Fortnite
If you are a Star Wars fan, the first two episodes of the new Tales of the Empire show will be available in Fortnite two days before Disney+. The show airs on May 4th, but in Fortnite it will be viewable at 10:00 a.m. Eastern on May 2nd.
A creative island will be available to watch the episodes. The code for the island will be shown in-game and should also be featured prominently on the UI. Watching both episodes grants a free loading screen. It is assumed the screen is related to the show.
This Star Wars crossover allows players to earn both a skin and a bonus item without spending anything. Multiple users confirmed that rewards were delivered quickly after linking and watching.
