Darth Vader AI and iOS Fortnite Block

Fortnite’s latest update brings wild changes, but not all of them are good. First up, Apple has blocked Fortnite’s submission, which means the game won’t be available on the US App Store or the Epic Game Store for iOS in the EU. That’s a huge blow—Fortnite on iOS is effectively offline worldwide until Apple lifts the block. While this isn’t surprising given the Epic vs. Apple legal battles, it’s a major hit for mobile players.

Meanwhile, Star Wars content took a step back. The themed islands have been removed from the files, but this doesn’t mean the content is canceled. It likely entered testing and will return later. What’s exciting is Epic’s Godzilla collaboration island leak. If the Monsterverse makes its way into Fortnite with King Kong, Mecha Godzilla, and more, it could create massive boss battles and creative gameplay scenarios.

Even better, Darth Vader now has AI functionality. You can interact with him in-game and ask questions. One hilarious moment saw him respond to a meme query with deadpan logic: “Does it provide a tactical advantage I am unaware of?” These small touches add fun to the experience.

LEGO Fortnite Adds Grenades and Creative Updates

LEGO Fortnite continues to expand despite its lower player count. Shockwave and impulse grenades are now live, with the physics and visuals holding up well in LEGO form. These updates enhance gameplay variety, especially in game modes built for mobility or chaos.

Epic has also updated Creator Profiles. You can now link your Twitch profile, giving players more visibility and a chance to grow their following through Fortnite Creative. It’s a small but meaningful addition for creators who want to reach a larger audience directly from the game.

Glacier Hotel Prefab and Prop Gallery Details

This patch also delivered the new Grand Glacier Gallery and prefab. It includes a stylish art deco-style hotel, though initially without props. Luckily, a separate prop gallery brings in elegant furniture, massive wall sets, and a snowy mountain gallery with updated trees, rocks, and visual effects.

Of note are the half-circle wall pieces, round roof parts, and impressive fire VFX props like oversized torches and chandeliers. Using Fortnite-native props helps reduce map load times in UFN (Unreal Fortnite Editor), so creators are encouraged to build with what’s already in-game when possible.

These additions show Epic’s ongoing commitment to Fortnite Creative. Every update brings new tools for mapmakers, and this one is no exception.

Walking Dead Red vs Blue and Wild Power-Ups

The Walking Dead islands are now publishable, and creators wasted no time. One standout map is “Walking Dead Red vs Blue,” featuring a zombie-infested lower level and a more traditional battle zone up top. Players can earn gold by defeating zombies and use it to spin the “super wheel” for bonuses.

New powers have also been added to Red vs Blue maps. The standout feature is the second diamond spinner that unlocks rare abilities. For instance, the nuke drop power requires 10 kills to activate and then wipes out the entire lobby. It’s balanced by its rarity and activation requirement.

Other powers include:

  • Auto Aim – grants flight and rapid-fire accuracy for a short burst of chaos.

  • Sheriff – puts a hat on your character and jails eliminated enemies until base damage finishes them off.

  • One Punch – gives you a nitro fist that knocks out any player instantly.

  • AC130 – turns you into an airborne destroyer raining down fire from the skies.

These powers shake up Red vs Blue gameplay and keep matches fresh with every round.
