How to Search a Cash Register

Simply walk up to a Cash Register and interact with it.

Each register rewards Gold Bars and immediately counts toward your event quest progress.

Safe Locations

Safes are much rarer than Cash Registers.

There are only 15 possible Safe spawn locations across the map, and they do not appear in every match, making them a less consistent option for completing the quest.

How to Open a Safe

Unlike Cash Registers, Safes require you to hold the interact button for several seconds before they open.

Once unlocked, you’ll receive Gold Bars, and the Safe will count toward the DC Hot Bat Summer quest.

Best Landing Spots for the Quest

If your goal is to finish the challenge in a single match, prioritize locations with the highest concentration of Cash Registers.

The best landing spots include:

  • Lifty Lodge (10 Cash Registers)
  • The Battlewoods (10)
  • Frosted Flats (9)
  • Latte Landing (8)

Because Cash Registers always spawn, you can usually search all three required objects before leaving your chosen point of interest.

Fastest Way to Complete the DC Hot Bat Summer Quest

For the quickest completion:

  1. Land at Lifty Lodge, The Battlewoods, Frosted Flats, or Latte Landing.
  2. Search three nearby Cash Registers.
  3. Collect the Gold Bars.
  4. The quest will complete immediately after searching your third register.

Although Safes also count toward the objective, their limited spawn locations and random appearance make them far less reliable. Unless you happen to find one during a match, sticking to Cash Registers is the fastest and most consistent way to complete the DC Hot Bat Summer event challenge.
