Patch 10.05 had just recently gone live in Riot Games‘ popular tactical shooter. Along with game updates, it also brought new cosmetics; the most prominent one being the VALORANT Storm Maw Bundle. Surprisingly, this bundle can be availed at a much more affordable price compared to other premium cosmetics. Its design has also already caught players’ attention. Want these new weapons for yourself? Check out all the details here.

What’s in the VALORANT Storm Maw Bundle?

The VALORANT Storm Maw Bundle is gaining popularity after release for its intriguing design. VALORANT announced this bundle on March 20, 2025 along with the patch update. It featured skins for five different weapons with a distinctive wolf theme and deep red accents. Each weapon showcases unique wolf designs that add an aggressive edge to your loadout. The collection includes:

  • Vandal: The precision rifle gets a predatory makeover
  • Judge: A shotgun with a beastly appearance for close-range encounters
  • Stinger: The SMG features the same wolf-inspired design language
  • Classic: Even the standard sidearm gets the Storm Maw treatment
  • Storm Maw Axe: A melee weapon that reportedly features a refractive effect during its inspection animation

This collection only includes all five weapon skins and doesn’t include any additional accessories like player cards, gun buddies, or sprays.

Bundle Price and Value

The VALORANT Storm Maw Bundle is priced at 3,500 VALORANT Points (VP). However,  you can still get individual weapon skins by themselves. Each one costs 875 VP, except the Storm Maw Axe priced at 1,750 VP.

This bundle is one of the most affordable bundles in the game compared to premium skin lines that often reach 7,000+ VP.  It’s part of the “select” rarity tier, which means the skins don’t feature special animations, sound effects, or upgradable variants requiring Radianite Points. This approach that only focused on giving players the weapon skins most likely contributed to its low price point.

Design and Community Reactions

Many players from the community received the VALORANT Storm Maw Bundle announcement positively. Some expressed their preference for the colors, and others liked the fact that it was affordable. According to reports, the Storm Maw Axe has a refractive effect during its inspection animation, adding a subtle but nice touch to the melee weapon.

While the wolf-themed design definitely attracted lots of attention from players, most of it was because of the animal’s connection to a popular meme. Replies to VALORANT’s official X (formerly Twitter) announcement talked about “letting their inner alpha out” once they get their hands on the bundle.

Meanwhile, negative reactions often stem from the bundle being so streamlined that it didn’t include any special effects or sounds. Others simply did not like the design, and think that it should actually be sold for a lower price. Some only liked designs of particular weapon skins, like that of the Axe and Vandal, and intended to buy these skins separately.

Conclusion

Finally seeing a chance to let out the “alpha” inside of you? Whether for the genuinely fierce design or the giggles they induce, you can rock these Storm Maw skins in-game. However, if you want unique animations, sound effects, or color variants, maybe you should save for a premium collection instead.

According to the latest information, the VALORANT Storm Maw Bundle will remain available for approximately two weeks. That gives players until early April to make their purchase decision. So, take your time debating whether to buy the VALORANT Storm Maw Bundle, a single weapon skin, or not buy it at all.
