The June 2026 update for Clash of Clans lands on June 15, the day after creator sneak peeks on June 13 and 14. Supercell has already confirmed the Flame Blower rework, a new Epic Equipment catch-up mechanic for the Ore economy, a new Event Troop, and major balance changes that have been reshaping the air meta since late May.

If you play Dragon Duke, run Sky Wagon, or have been sitting on unleveled Epic Equipment hoping for a fix, this update touches all of it.

The Flame Blower Is Getting Reworked on June 15

This is the biggest mechanical change confirmed for June. Right now, when you deploy the Dragon Duke with the Rocket Backpack, the Backpack’s movement direction pulls the Flame Blower’s aim along with it. That let players drop the Duke and have the Flame Blower retarget into the center of a base automatically, with very little manual aiming involved.

Supercell confirmed in their State of Gameplay Part 2 post (published May 22, 2026) that the Flame Blower will now always blow in the direction the Dragon Duke was facing when he was first deployed, not the direction the Rocket Backpack is traveling. The retarget is gone.

What this means in practice: you need to think about where your Duke lands. If he is facing a wall, the Flame Blower fires at the wall. The Backpack still moves him, but it no longer steers the fire. Placement matters now in a way it simply did not before.

Dragon Duke, Sky Wagon, and Giant Arrow Already Hit by May Balance Changes

Supercell rolled out a round of live balance changes in May that are actively live and feeding directly into the June meta. Here are all the confirmed stat shifts from the official spreadsheet:

The Ore Economy Is Getting a Catch-Up System

Supercell confirmed in the same May 22 blog post that a new system to make Epic Equipment more accessible for free-to-play and returning players is arriving with the June update. The exact mechanic has not been officially revealed yet. Supercell stated they “have found a fair way to make the Epic Equipment economy more accessible while still keeping the Ore economy engaging” and that they will share full details in the upcoming Clash On developer video, which is scheduled for June 13 or 14 alongside the creator sneak peeks.

What is confirmed: this is not a small change. Supercell said explicitly they have taken time with this because many players have invested real money and time into Equipment, and they want to be fair about how they speed things up for newer and returning players.

A New Epic Equipment and Event Troop Are Coming

Supercell confirmed three things are planned for the June update under what they called “mORE” in their blog post:

  1. new Event Troop

  2. New gameplay content described as something “that could change the flow of attacks in some unexpected ways”

  3. “monolithic” new Epic Equipment (Supercell’s word, not a description of a building)

No names, stats, or previews have been officially shared for any of these three items as of June 10, 2026. Full details are expected during the June 13 to 14 sneak peek window.

Anime Fury Season 2 Is Running the Whole Month

June is also the Anime Fury Season 2 themed month. Six hero skins are rolling out across the month, starting with the Anime Fury Dragon Duke available immediately with the Gold Pass from June 1. The full skin lineup releases in order: Anime Fury Duke (June 1), Queen (June 3), Warden (June 5), King (June 7), Champion (June 9), and Prince (June 11).

A shrine-style XL Scenery with koi carp, waterfalls, and a palace-base layout launched June 2. The update itself on June 15 also triggers the Football Fury event with its own temporary troops: Barbarian Kicker, Giant Thrower, and the Yellow Card Spell, running through June 30.

The second CWL of the month begins June 15 in Football Fury format (11v11 plus traditional). The Half-Time Warden skin is available exclusively in the CWL shop starting the same day.
