Many agents depend on the ranks of the players, but this guide provides an overall outlook on the current state of the game . The Valorant agent tier list below highlights who’s dominating and who’s struggling, helping players find the perfect agent to climb the ranks. Yoru remains in S tier as he offers great utility and independence. The highest-rated player globally,  Eggster, consistently proves Yoru’s value. Yoru allows players to enter sites without needing teammates, making him an excellent pick for solo play.

Skye ranks highly due to her utility in helping both herself and her team. Her flashes are the best for initiating and setting up plays. Skilled Sky players can blind enemies and create opportunities, making her a versatile agent. Phoenix also deserves an S-tier spot due to his flashes, healing, and self-sufficiency, allowing players to dominate rounds without depending on teammates.

A-Tier Valorant Agents

As for A-tier agents, Sova brings strong utility with his Shock Dart and Recon Dart. His lineups can completely change the course of a match. However, mastering Sova requires excellent knowledge of his lineups, making him slightly less versatile compared to agents like Yoru and Sky. KO excels at supporting his team while also flashing for himself. His knife suppresses enemies, and his utility works well for both self-sufficiency and team play. Neon, while highly mobile, can feel like a selfish pick. Her utility seems tailored for personal plays rather than team-focused strategies, which limits her ranking potential. Reyna offers strong self-sufficiency with her healing and blind abilities, allowing players to take aggressive duels and maintain control over sites without relying on their team.

B-Tier, C-Tier and D-Tier Agents

In the B tier, Harbor’s utility doesn’t offer the same level of flexibility as other controllers, placing him in this category. Smoking specific angles can be challenging, and his overall kit requires high skill to make effective use of. Breach ranks lower due to the ease of dodging his flashes and the time it takes for his Aftershock to activate. Cypher offers valuable utility, but in ranked matches, his performance depends too much on teammates. Brimstone performs decently, with smokes that last long and cover wide distances, but like other B-tier agents, he doesn’t offer the same level of self-sufficiency as higher-tier agents. Astra has potential but isn’t as standard on most maps.

Sage remains in D-tier, as her utility doesn’t offer much in ranked play. Sage players often struggle to provide meaningful support to their teams, making her a weaker pick for climbing ranks. Yoru, Phoenix, and Reyna stand out as the best duelists in S tier, being self-sufficient and capable of helping their team. Omen and Viper excel as controllers, while Cypher and Deadlock stand out for their self-sufficiency as sentinels. For initiators, Gecko and Sky perform exceptionally well due to their versatility. KO and Fade offer strong utility but require extensive knowledge of their lineups. Finally, Breach and Sova rank lower due to their limited ability to perform well without strong team coordination.
