How Battlefield 6 Compares to Previous Titles
Looking at franchise history:
Battlefield 2042: 22 weapons
Battlefield 5: 46 total
Battlefield 1: 39 total
Battlefield Hardline: 56 total
Battlefield 4: 83 weapons
With 42 confirmed, BF6 sits comfortably in the middle, balancing variety without overwhelming new players.
Camos, Progression, and Customization
Leaked files also suggest 49 weapon camos, most featuring grounded designs like woodland, digital, and hexagonal patterns. Attachment unlocks return, tied to weapon progression, with players working through mastery levels as in previous Battlefield entries.
There’s also the confirmed grime and mud buildup system for weapons, seen in Battlefield 1 and BF5, making a comeback for added immersion.
Post-Launch Content and Battle Royale Leaks
Some unreleased weapons in Temporyal’s list may connect to a rumored Battle Royale mode. Leaks hint at experimental “Strike Packages” exclusive to BR, featuring tools like orbital strikes, artillery barrages, and air support. Standard multiplayer will keep its grounded tone, while BR experiments with futuristic tech.
