Mission Challenges

There are three mission challenges that you, the player, must complete throughout the chapter. Better to expect challenging combat right at this stage, with demon creatures ready to destroy you. Now, here are the missions upcoming your way in Chapter 14:

Challenge #1: Heart Harvester

What will be your objective for this challenge is to kill all the 2 leader demons. After defeating them, you’ll get to receive 50 Gold as a reward. In completing this mission, you should defeat both demons, dropping Demonic Essence at this level. So these should include Cyberdemon miniboss following the Gore nest and Revenant miniboss at late combat engagement.

Challenge #2: Master Blaster

The second challenge to take is damaging the demons with 250 Auto Turret rounds. Like the previous challenge, it rewards 50 Gold once you’ve completed the mission. To complete this, you should equip the Auto Turret Shield Relic, which was unlocked in Chapter 12. Then, parry green objectives from your enemies. You can farm this by checkpoint restart once you’re in larger combat encounters.

Challenge #3: Expert Stalker

Last on the challenge list is to chase and destroy the 2 Hell Fighter ships. For the reward, it is the same as earlier missions which is 50 Gold. You must fly on your dragon here while pursuing and destroying those Hell Fighter ships. There will be at least 4 Hell Fighters appearing during the flight sections in this level.

Major Collectible Locations

Beyond the Gold rewards from the list of mission challenges, there are several major collectibles in Spire of Nerathul. You must search this chapter for a total of five collectibles including toys, codex entries, and a weapon skin. Here’s where and how you can find all of these items easily:

Arachnotron Toy

  1. Located in the underground landing area that resembles a destroyed pirate ship.
  2. Navigate inside the ship and look for a breakable wall on the left side that can be destroyed with a Shield Charge.
  3. The toy is inside this secret area.

After exiting the ship section but still in the same landing area, proceed through a downhill section with broken terrain.

  1. When you reach the bottom, ignore the objective marker to the right and head left toward the cliff edge.
  2. Drop down to a lower ledge to find the codex page.

Nightmare Grenade Launcher Skin

  1. This collectible requires accessing a secret landing area before triggering the main objective.
  2. Fly your dragon to the bottom of the map where one of the three objective landing zones is located.
  3. Look for a tunnel above this landing spot.
  4. Follow the tunnel to find an alternate landing zone with a teleporter.
  5. Enter the teleporter, defeat the swarm of Imps, and proceed to find both the weapon skin and a Wraithstone.

Revenant Toy

  1. After reaching the final landing zone, look for a path underneath with gold coins.
  2. Follow this path toward a tower-shaped structure.
  3. Locate the climbable wall, ascend it, use the jump pad, and then look for a ledge you can drop down to.
  4. The toy is located on this ledge near some armor shards.

Serrat Codex

  1. Found at the very end of the level.
  2. After obtaining the Ballistic Force Crossbow (BFC) and defeating a large creature, you’ll climb to the top of a structure.
  3. Near the top, just before the final elevator, the codex entry sits beside a button you need to stand on.

What Should You Do To Collect Everything

  1. Take your time. This dragon level has multiple landing zones and some of it turns inaccessible after departure. Best that you thoroughly explore each area before proceeding.
  2. Look for Hidden Tunnels. Keep an eye out for any hidden tunnels while flying as it leads to secret landing zones. These are particularly above and below the main objectives.
  3. Use Height to Your Advantage. At most, collectibles are placed on ledges below areas you’ll naturally traverse. Always check for platforms you can drop down to.
  4. Break Destructible Walls. With Shield Charge, you can break certain walls that are hiding secrets and collectibles.
