The latest Naraka Bladepoint new modes update is here, introducing hero adjustments, game mode upgrades, and map changes. This patch focuses on improving extraction-based gameplay and delivers meaningful balance tweaks across different systems.

Temulch Update and Stamina Adjustments

The update brings significant changes to Temulch, improving stamina recovery inside the Storm Prison. Players now regain stamina faster, giving them more flexibility during prolonged engagements.

Temulch’s mobility also received an upgrade, allowing him to ride the tides after a double jump and perform charged dash attacks mid-air. While these attacks add offensive options, they can still be countered, keeping fights balanced.

Additionally, the Zephyr Whip skill has been removed, slightly shifting Temulch’s role but keeping his stamina-focused gameplay intact.

Shay Buffs and Black Tortoise Counter Rework

Shay receives a major buff in this patch, changing how her Black Tortoise Block functions. When triggered, it now stores a counterattack without consuming tortoise marks. If no enemy is marked, Shay performs a quick forward slash instead, keeping her offense fluid.

Her defensive focus has also been reworked, moving from a gold-focused skill to a gold-focused ultimate. This adjustment boosts her late-game presence and provides more versatility in high-pressure scenarios. Shay was already considered strong before, and this update pushes her capabilities even further.

New Map, Game Mode, and Econ System Changes

The Golden Rock escort mode now features a redesigned Perdoria map, following a single-route layout divided into two stages. Reaching a checkpoint extends the match timer and refreshes respawn points for both teams, making objective control more strategic.

The econ system has also been optimized. Rift Dealers now stock more purchasable items, and free combat items spawn at the three-minute and seven-minute marks to enhance early- and mid-game decision-making.

Additionally, attackers recover health while inside the Golden Rock escort zone, while defenders heal within the Border Seal, creating a more balanced dynamic between both sides.

Rift Reversal Mechanics and Extraction Mode Updates

The update introduces Rift Reversal adjustments, allowing players to pick up items while buried underground for the first time. However, opponents can now slash players out of the ground, maintaining a fair balance between stealth and counterplay.

These updates primarily target the extraction-focused game mode, which continues to receive consistent support. With new mechanics, better pacing, and improved item access, the developers are making this mode more engaging for long-term players.

The patch officially goes live on September 3rd, bringing refined hero strategies and fresh gameplay opportunities.
