MLBB Advanced Server Patch Notes: Buffs, Nerfs, and What Changes Next
The latest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Advanced Server update just landed, and it is one of the most nerf-heavy patches in recent memory. Across fighters, mages, marksmen, and supports, Moonton is pulling power back from heroes that have been dominating games at every rank.

FreyaValkyrie State
(Ultimate)
Nerf Forces an explicit extension to her total core Ultimate cooldown window. Continues a multi-patch balance pattern designed to contain her post-revamp peBefore you panic, a few of these nerfed versions are still stronger than what is currently on the official server. But several of the changes here, especially to Claude and Ling, are big enough to shift how you play them from the ground up. Here is every confirmed change from this Advanced Server patch, ranked by how much it actually matters to your games.
The Short Buff List
This patch is not here to give. There are three buffs, and they are all fairly targeted.
Khalid is getting a base HP increase and a Skill 1 damage buff. His physical bonus per hit goes up from 120% total physical attack to 130% total physical attack. That is a clean damage improvement that makes his early aggression slightly safer and his poke more punishing.
Alice receives an increase to her passive base damage. Her passive scales off enemy HP taken, so a stronger base number helps her survive trades and burst through tanks a little earlier.
Hilda gets a base physical attack increase from 103 to 123, which sounds big. But her physical attack growth is nerfed from 8 to 6.85. She hits harder at level one but the gap closes as the game goes longer. She will be a stronger early game pick but loses a little of her late game power edge.
Every Hero Getting Nerfed This Patch
Carmilla. Skill 1 base damage is nerfed. However, even after this nerf, the Advanced Server version of her Skill 1 is still stronger than what is live on the official server right now. So Carmilla players should not be too alarmed, at least for now.
Balmond. Skill 2 total HP damage is nerfed. Like Carmilla, this version still outperforms his current live numbers. His HP-based scaling was clearly too strong during testing, so Moonton is trimming it before it reaches you.
Freya. The nerf streak for Freya continues. Her Ultimate cooldown duration is being increased, meaning you will have access to it less often. She has been under the microscope since her revamp, and Moonton is clearly not done tuning her down.
Phoveus. This one is a full attribute takedown. His base HP, base physical attack, and base physical defense are all nerfed in one patch. That kind of triple stat reduction is uncommon and points to Phoveus being considered too tanky and too threatening at the same time in current play.
Ling. His Skill 1 cooldown is readjusted to 2.5 seconds at early game and 2 seconds at late game. His energy cost is also reverted to previous values. Ling players had been enjoying a tighter skill window, especially early, and this change pulls that back. If your Ling gameplay relied on rapid early wall jumps to dominate the first five minutes, you will feel the difference immediately.
Paquito.
His passive enhanced skill damage to minions is nerfed. His damage reduction after casting skills is also nerfed. These two changes together reduce his lane safety and make him more punishable in extended duels. He becomes a slightly higher-risk pick in lanes where he used to just tank through punishment.
Claude. This is the most structurally significant change in the patch. His Skill 2 cooldown is reverted to original server values, which is fine. But his Ultimate is getting a major rework to how its damage works.
The base damage on his Ultimate is nerfed heavily. The total physical attack scaling is increased. In plain terms: early game Claude will deal far less damage with his Ultimate because he has fewer items and less physical attack built up. As the game goes on and he finishes his core items, his Ultimate damage starts climbing back and can potentially hit harder than before in a full build.
This change turns Claude from a hero who can win teamfights at 10 minutes into one who really needs 15 to 20 minutes to start threatening. In ranked, that means your early game positioning and farming have to be cleaner. You cannot rely on a strong Ultimate to bail you out before you have items.
Harley. Skill 2 cooldown is increased. A new mana cost is added specifically in late game. Harley has always been mana-dependent, but having a late game cost added to Skill 2 means you cannot spam your combo as freely in drawn-out teamfights. Mana management becomes a real factor, especially if you are not itemizing for mana.
The Adjustment List (Not Buffs, Not Nerfs, But Still Important)
Argus has a new passive mechanic. He now gains malice energy when attacking turrets. If you play Argus as a split pusher, this is a genuine quality-of-life improvement. It means you can charge up your Ultimate charge passively while taking down structures, which makes turret sieges much more threatening when you have Ultimate up. His attack speed when activating Skill 2 is nerfed at late game, though, so his burst window gets a little narrower.
Kagura. Skill 2 cooldown is now 16 seconds early and 13 seconds late. That is a longer window between casts, which affects her ability to rotate umbrellas quickly in fights. Kagura players who relied on fast Skill 2 resets to stay safe in mage or roam positions will need to be more deliberate.
Martis. Base HP regen is increased to 22.4 per second. The passive out-of-combat effect that gave him 300% HP regen per second has been removed. Skill 1 damage is nerfed. The trade-off here is that Martis gets slightly more consistent base regen but loses the strong passive recovery window. He will still sustain, but the difference in recovery speed between in-combat and out-of-combat is much smaller now.
Two Small Changes Worth Knowing
Layla’s passive and Skill 2 descriptions have been cleaned up for clarity. No stat changes, just better text so you actually understand what her abilities do.
The intro backgrounds for Eruditio-affiliated heroes have been changed. Eruditio is one of MLBB’s major lore factions, a science-based city in the Land of Dawn home to heroes like Layla, Harley, and Nolan. The visual update to their intro screens is cosmetic, but it signals that Moonton is actively refreshing faction identity for players who care about lore and hero presentation.
