Marvel’s Wolverine has revealed a brand-new costume inspired by Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, giving players another outfit to unlock when the game launches. The announcement was made during San Diego Comic-Con, alongside a new story trailer that showcased several upcoming villains ahead of the game’s September 15 release.

Unlike some cosmetics that are tied to pre-orders, this crossover outfit will be available to every player through normal gameplay.

Free Marvel Tokon Suit Confirmed

As part of the collaboration between Insomniac Games and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Wolverine will receive a new anime-inspired costume based on his appearance in Arc System Works’ upcoming fighting game.

The suit features Wolverine’s iconic blue and yellow X-Men color scheme with a stylized design that reflects Marvel Tokon’s anime-inspired art direction.

According to Insomniac Games, the costume:

  • Is available to all players.
  • Does not require a pre-order.
  • Is unlocked through game progression.

This makes it one of the first free crossover cosmetics confirmed for Marvel’s Wolverine.

Battle Reborn Suit Coming to Marvel Tokon

The crossover works both ways.

Insomniac also confirmed that Wolverine’s default Battle Reborn suit from Marvel’s Wolverine will be added to Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls as a free costume.

The outfit is scheduled to become available on September 1, giving fighting game players access to Wolverine’s new look before Marvel’s Wolverine launches later that month.

New Story Trailer Showcases More Villains

Alongside the costume reveal, Insomniac Games debuted a new story trailer during San Diego Comic-Con.

The trailer offered another look at Wolverine’s journey while teasing several new villains players will encounter throughout the campaign, building anticipation for the game’s release on September 15.

With a free crossover costume, a reciprocal collaboration with Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and a new story trailer highlighting upcoming enemies, Marvel’s Wolverine continues to reveal more of what players can expect ahead of its launch later this year.
