Legendary Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu went into Abbey Road Studios earlier this year to record some of the Final Fantasy series most iconic and classic songs to make a new record that is intended to be released on September 16 as an audio Blu-Ray.

We got a sneak preview today of some of the work that went on in the studios with Uematsu and it is nothing short of captivating. The Orchestra flawlessly performs the memorable Final Fantasy VII piece, “Words Drowned by Fireworks” that is sure to have fans swept away in blissful waves of nostalgia.

It was also recently announced that the London Symphony Orchestra will be returning to London on September 12 for a second round of the Final Symphony tour. This tour celebrates Final Fantasy music and highlights pieces from almost all of the games and even features series composer Nobuo Uematsu himself talking about his career and taking questions before the performance.
