Gifting any character what they like is an easy way to raise their affection level, but to marry Gustafa, you’ll need to be a little patient. He won’t always accept multiple gifts in a row like other characters will, but the nice part is that Gustafa’s likes are still simple enough to grab. The easiest among them are:

Between the flowers, milk, and milky soup, I never felt like I was at risk of running out of gifts for Gustafa. Gustafa’s schedule isn’t as routine as other characters, but like Matthew, it’s fairly open; he’s much easier to give gifts to than someone like Molly. He often wanders around the Forgotten Valley. The timeline below is a pretty regular day for him.

  • 9AM – 10:30AM: In his home
  • 10:30AM – 12:30PM: Playing guitar behind the inn
  • 12:30PM – 6PM: Traveling to and staying in the Forest
  • 6PM – 9PM: Heading home
  • 12AM: Goes to bed

Gustafa’s Heart Events are a little different than some other characters (like Lumina) since they’re tied to seasons. Luckily, there’s one per season, and they’re still based on if he has enough affection toward you to trigger the event.
