You can yield the power of the gods inFortnite Myths & Mortals, but those powers come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. While Hades’ Whip may be more obvious, don’t underestimate this powerful banana. Here’s how to get a Banana of the Gods in Fortnite.

The Banana of the Gods, although shaped like an ordinary banana, is a Legendary item. It doesn’t have the combat abilities of Hades’ Whip or Zeus’ Thunderbolt, but it grants the player health over time and speed when eaten.
Image by GameSkinnyI was able to find a Banana of the Gods by searching in chests around Reckless Railways. However, this powerful item can be found in any chest, God Chests, or by chance in random Produce Boxes. You’ll have a greater chance of finding one in Rare Chests since they are more likely to drop higher rarity items.
Fortnite God Chests Locations
God Chests are unique chests with a greater chance of dropping those rarer items, especially those god items. If you’re dire about finding the Banana of the Gods (maybe to complete the Midas Quests), the God Chests are your best bet at finding some, and they usually have other regular chests around to check as well.
Here are all the possible spawn locations for the God Chests. While there may not be one in all these spots every match, it’s worth looking to try and find that banana. The best places to go for these chests are:

- Grim Gate
- Mount Olympus
- Brawler’s Battleground
If you don’t want to drop into one of these hot spots, look for nearby locations, like small temples or buildings that can also have them.
How to Use the Banana of the Gods
Just like any food item in Fortnite, the Banana of the Gods is eaten. Select it from your quick bar and hold RT/R2 or M1 to eat it. Once you eat it, you’ll gain health over time, run faster, and jump higher. The effects only last for a limited time, though, so if you want to keep those banana powers, you’ll need to track down another. Or, save the banana for the right opportunity and use its powers to your advantage against your enemies.
