Every Final Fantasy XIV gatherer needs to familiarize themselves with timed nodes to make the most of their efforts and feed their crafting classes, and timed botany and mining nodes are more common than a new gatherer might expect.
Recommended VideosIn this guide we’re going to cover the lot of timed nodes for botanists, separated by expansion (level range) for clarity. That said, this guide does not go over collectables. These are instead covered in our FFXIV botany collectables guide.
The times shown are Eorzean Time (ET), meaning they reflect the time of day in-game.
If you have not set your HUD to display Eorzean Time yet, go into your Character Configuration menu and choose UI Settings, then click HUD. You’ll find Clock Type a bit down.
Once checked, your HUD will show both local and Eorzean time.
Don’t Forget to Set Alarms!
The gatherer’s best friend is FFXIV‘s /alarm function, which can be used by typing /alarm into the in-game textbox and hitting the Enter key. From there you’ll be able to set single-time or recurring alarms to aid your gathering.
FFXIV A Realm Reborn Botany Timed Nodes
The first timed nodes are level 50, but you should be able to attempt to gather them at level 46.
These nodes spawn once per day and are up for three hours.
