A word of advice before we get started. As far as I can tell, the amount of experience gained in each mission is fixed. You don’t need to retry each mission until you get a “Nice” next to your defenestration score at the end of a match. That is unless you like doing that. If you do, good news! This game was made for you. If you don’t, there’s no downside (and no shame) in taking your mediocre score and moving on to the next mission.
