Idea Factory released MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies today for the PlayStation Vita. As part of the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, it serves as the sequel to Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed. The game is also the first in the series to feature multiplayer.

The franchise began in 2010, with the release of Hyperdimension Neptunia for the PlayStation 3. The series’ world and lore is built on parodying the game industry in colorful world. The heroines of the series themselves serve as stand-ins for game consoles over the years.

The latest title stars heroine Blanc, and takes place in Gamicademi, Gamindustri’s academy for CPUs and candidates. Blanc, Neptune, and friends must film a movie to save their school, stop zombies, and keep everyone safe.

Battles take place in realtime and you must dispatch your foes as quickly as possible. Blanc will be joined by series veterans and newcomers alike as support characters. With multiplayer, up to 3 players can join in to battle via adhoc.
