Amiibos have recently been implemented on the Wii U. There has been a massive push with them and Super Smash Bros. WIi U. Players have been collecting them, and it looks like Nintendo is discontinuing the less common amiibo characters after their first runs are over.

There have been six amiibos scheduled for launch in 2015. The six characters to be launched are:

  • Charizard
  • Robin
  • Lucina
  • Ness
  • Pac-Man
  • Wario

All of the characters will be compatible with Super Smash Bros Wii U and Super Smash Bros 3DS. They will also be readable by Hyrule Warriors and Mario Party 10. The only two that will be operational with Code Name: S.T.E.A.M will be Lucina and Robin. 

There will be a Mario series of amiibos, which is scheduled for March 20. This series will contain differenct amiibos than the ones listed above, including:

  • Mario
  • Luigi
  • Peach
  • Yoshi
  • Bowser
  • Toad

These Amiibos were available on the inital launch of amiibos, but this pack is geared for Mario Party 10.
