At Square Enix’s E3 press conference today, Just Cause 3, in development by Avalanche Studios, was one of the most hotly anticipated games we were expecting to see, alongside Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Kingdom Hearts 3. Just Cause 3 was the game they led us in with, and it didn’t disappoint.

It’s undoubtedly looking fantastic, all the explosive octane action we know and love from Just Cause 2 seems to be back with some key additions like the ability to have multiple grapple lines at once. The parachute now controls a lot smoother, and there’s a lot more destruction; a welcome addition to a sandbox game. The wingsuit is also looking very impressive as another way to travel around the world which they confirmed is 400 square miles.

There’s a bunch more weapons and vehicles, along with various challenges with online leaderboard support. They confirmed the game will be available December 1st, 2015 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
