Due to a deal with EA and Microsoft the news of when the Jaws of Hakkon would be released for other platforms was blocked.  The expansion for Dragon Age was released for Xbox One and PC last week leaving PlayStation and Xbox 360 Gamers hanging.  Good news for them is that the expansion will be released for them in May.

BioWare hoped that the expansion wouldn’t be boycotted due to the exclusive arrangement with Microsoft.  They at least said they would have news for the PS4 release shortly and now it’s here.

According to the previously released announcement, in the expansion players are introduced to the fate of the last inquisitor and the last great dragon he hunted.  Players explore a wilderness populated by Avvar and an ancient Tevinter fortress that hides a terrible secret.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that there will be new enemies with a whole set of new legendary weapons and armor.  At the end, players will even face a powerful ancient god wanting to destroy the world.

So for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation gamers: Are you excited about getting the expansion?
