Bloodborne Comic Series 'The Death of Sleep' to release in 2018
Titan Comics, known for their comic series based on video games such as Dishonored, Assassin’s Creed, and Wolfenstein 2, has revealed that they have a comic based on From Software’s PlayStation 4 exclusive game, Bloodborne, titled The Death of Sleep, releasing in February 2018.
Recommended VideosThe art for the comic is being created by Piotr Kowalski, who also drew for the Dark Souls comic series and the Wolfenstein 2 tie-in comic, and the story is being written by Alex Kot.
The comic will see a nameless hunter arrive in Yharnam to slay the grotesque creatures which plague it. It is currently unknown if the comic will follow the story of the game or take place at a different time, but in the press release writer Alex Kot stated:
“There will be mystery, the weird, the eerie, the horrific and the bloody – and there will be an undercurrent of decaying romanticism (…) Ascend with us, Hunters old and new. And do remember: one has to seek Paleblood to transcend the hunt.”
Bloodborne: The Death of Sleep will release in February 2018. The video game, Bloodborne, is available on PlayStation 4.
