You can wishlist it today, Microsoft said, with a launch date to be announced "soon".
The news comes as Rare's buccaneering pirate simulate passes a milestone of 10 million unique players, including those who've jumped aboard via Xbox Game Pass.
Sea of Thieves first launched in 2018 and has been kept well updated with new places, stories and er, parrots since then. And it'll remain in development for the foreseeable future, too, even as a second team at Rare develops fantasy adventure Everwild.
