Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has now been officially revealed, following rumours that it would be set - at least partially - in space.

The game's debut trailer was released this morning and teases a campaign that ventures even further into the realms of sci-fi than the likes of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare managed to, with the presumed protagonist Lt. Reyes at one point commandeering what can be best described as a space jet.

It's not clear whether Infinite Warfare is linked to Infinity Ward's previous game under the Call of Duty banner, Ghosts.

If the futuristic setting isn't intriguing enough, you might be more interested in the final moments of the reveal trailer, which confirm a remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be included with the 'Legacy Edition' of Infinite Warfare.

Considered by many to be the best game in the long-running series, 2007's Modern Warfare had a huge impact not just on the success of the franchise, but also the wider genre of first-person shooters.

Depends on the Price, really.

The remaster is being developed by Raven Software, an Activision-owned studio that's assisted with Call of Duty development for the last six years. It promises to include a reworked campaign, as well as ten 'fan-favourite' multiplayer maps from the original game, including Crash, Backlot and Crossfire.

Infinity Ward's Infinite Warfare will launch worldwide on the 4th November for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
