Fist of the North Star 2 looks every bit as subtle as puberty

A pantomime plot, David Bowie's wardrobe and more cheese than Cathedral City - yes it's Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2.

Not that there's anything wrong with a bedazzled manga romp in the style of Dynasty Warriors. Games are games after all.

Mind you, First of the North Star 1 was so-so. Matt Edwards loved the faithful recreation of a manga he adores, but he didn't like the "practically archaic" gameplay underneath.

Will things improve?
