Activision no longer has the rights to make Iron Man games, but Marvel reckons that's not the end of the matter.
"Expect an announcement this fall," was a Marvel chap's response when GameSpot asked about it.
Earlier, Activision had admitted that it "no longer retained" the rights to Iron Man, which is being made into a film due out in May 2008.
There's been no real discussion of why the rights were allowed to subside, but with Spider-Man, X-Men and others on its books, Activision is already well stocked in the superhero department.
