This weekend marks the first wedding of the season (and the first of three in July alone). There will be suiting, there will be booting, and there will be demanding the DJ plays Toxic. Though, I might change up the traditional demand to Robyn in honour of her UK tour. She has several equally inappropriate wedding songs – Call Your Girlfriend, Dancing On My Own, Love Kills.

Ah, heck why choose? "Disc Jockey, take the night off, I've made you a list of sad bangers!"

Classic Swedish bops aside, here's what the team's getting up to this weekend.

Jeremy
I'm rotating between a bunch of different games lately. My priorities are Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, as our better-late-than-never walkthrough continues, Lords of the Fallen (which I got for a fiver in a recent sale and have been enjoying, despite the fact that the 'anti-woke' rhetoric of CI Games' CEO annoys me to no end), and a certain Ubisoft remaster that isn't out yet but stars a yo-ho-ho fellow in a fancy hood who occasionally assassinates people (Ed's note: Rayman?). There's also the demo for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, that I really should get around to playing at some point. All good games!

Mark
Shhhhhhh, secret game alert. All will be revealed at some mysterious point in the future.

James
I haven't had a chance to play more of Lullabies Made of Static since trying the demo on Wednesday, but I'd like to - most other things I've been playing tend to involve either exaggerated bloodletting, or flinging myself down a mountain in a rally-spec Mini Cooper, so I could do with something more pensive.

Callum
Some say Callum is on holiday this week. Others in the know, however, realise that he crawls within the walls, questing for the beating heart of the Treehouse.

Edwin
This weekend I might dip back into the limited early access version of Soulframe, the action-RPG from Digital Extremes that combines the fanciness of Warframe's wardrobe with the pacing of an older-school dungeon crawler. I'm covering Tennocon next week and need to do my homework. Mind you, there are a few things I snaffled code for a few months ago that are crying out for attention, like Titanium Court.

Ollie
After a few days away I'll be diving back into Overwatch, of course. But aside from that, I'll likely be spending my weekend coding rather than gaming. My brother and I have ideas for a game, and I want to get a working prototype finished as soon as possible so we can figure out just how bad at game development we truly are.

Julian
Should I survive the double whammy of a Robyn concert and a family wedding, I intend to return to Minishoot' Adventure. I'm hitting up against a personal skill ceiling, but I think if I farm up a few of the easier areas I might be able to buff my damage and range enough to take on the worst of the enemies while cowardly camping in a corner.

And you, reader dear, what are you playing this weekend…?
