Good news, everybody! We made it through the Summer Game Fest weekend pretty much unscathed. True, I have depleted neighbourhood stocks of ginseng and also, lost the ability to blink, but we got another Duskers out of it, didn't we? Also some footage of gunfights in a Fumito Ueda game, which distressed me less than it might have if I'd had any fluid left in my head when they screened the thing.

In equally happy news, we've dealt with the problem of the Maw eating Geoff Keighley and/or spawning a phantom double of Geoff Keighley. I mean, we didn’t do anything, really – I just like phantom Geoff's style. If you look closely you can see the original Geoff Keighley trapped inside his eyes, screaming and waving a sign that reads "Persona 6 is a lie". There is no time to be alarmed by this thought, because I have already prepared the latest list of PC game releases.

Monday 8th June

  • Atre: Dominance Wars is a fairly posh-looking, turn-based fantasy kingdom builder in which you are a wizard trying to become a god. It's out this day in early access with four factions, the beginnings of the campaign, and a skirmish mode.
  • For those who do not wish to become a god, there is the option of collecting cookies in puzzleboxy 2D platformer Rakeo.

Tuesday 9th June

  • NBA The Run is a 3v3 street basketball game with bouncy, radioactive visuals. Go on, do a slamdunk and cackle as the game's very camera falls square on its bum and desaturates in utter consternation.

Wednesday 10th June

  • Meccha Chameleon is one of the more novel concepts of late – a multiplayer hide-and-seek game in which you paint your body to match your surroundings. It's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater but without the coward's escape of a library of camouflage patterns.
  • SAND: Raiders of Sophie is a PvPvE expedition and looting game in which you lark about in huge warmechs. I fell off my mech while soloing an older build, and spent the next 45 minutes on foot, trying to catch up with it. Felt sad.
  • 33 Immortals is a big team co-op endeavour from Spiritfarer developers Thunder Lotus. Get in the action roguelike, loser, we're off to rebel against God's final judgment.

Thursday 11th June

  • Out today in early access, SpaceCraft (pictured) is a galaxy's worth of planets to discover and transform into a mighty trading empire. It's from Shiro, developers of War Tales, so it's got some proper pedigree powering it, even if the idea of doing another space colonialism makes me want to stick a bike pump in my ear.
  • For a dinkier, cosier space fantasy, consider the early access launch of Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions - an Astroneer spin-off in which gaggles of cosmonauts go on adventures to star systems full of unreceptive creatures who are 50% incisor.

Friday 12th June

  • Don't Let It Starve promises to tutor me in the art of assembling bento boxes that spark joy. As a bonus, I'll be feeding those bentos to a horrible creep in a hole.

"What about all those other brilliant, awesome games you didn't mention?" you say. What am I, the Domesday Book? Go mention them yourself - that's why we gave you a comments thread.

As for what we of the Treehouse are doing this week: basically, we'll be flinging out interview requests and writing up impressions of the many, many games from all the SGF and SGF-adjacent livestreams. Nobody is allowed to announce anything else for the foreseeable future. I don't care if it's the Second Coming, a UFO flyby or even a proper Legacy of Kain sequel - RPS is closed to tidings of any kind.
