The Saviors of Uldum expansion is in full swing, and we’ve been playing it to our heart’s content. Some ingenious new deck archetypes and old favourites alike are shaping the game as we know it. Hearthstone is in the midst of one of the most diverse metagames we’ve had in a while, and the recent card balance changes have helped remove some of the less enjoyable aspects of the metagame.

It’s been a big month, and we’ve kept our deck list guides updated. You can find it all on our Deck Tier List so you can stay in the know about the state of the meta and build your decks accordingly.

Tombs of Terror

Uldum is under attack! The Tombs of Terror are coming soon, and we’re keeping an eye out for all the upcoming single-player content, from the unique bosses to the signature treasures. We’ll be keeping our Tombs of Terror guide updated with all the information we get, as well as guides on how to best take on these cursed crypts.

New Keyword: Reborn

A new Keyword - Reborn - has arrived with the release of Saviors of Uldum.

Minions who possess the Reborn keyword will be returned to life upon death, albeit with just one point of Health remaining.

Quests Return

Quests - introduced with the Journey to Un'Goro expansion - have returned.

The development team have clearly learned from the Journey to Un’Goro Quests, as almost every single class’ Quest is viable to play:

  • Activate the Obelisk [Priest]. Quest: Restore 15 Health. Reward: Obelisk's Eye.
  • Bazaar Burglary [Rogue]. Quest: Add 4 cards from other classes to your hand. Reward: Ancient Blades.
  • Corrupt the Waters [Shaman]. Quest: Play 6 Battlecry cards. Reward: Heart of Vir'naal
  • Hack the System [Warrior]. Quest: Attack 5 times with your hero. Reward: Anraphet's Core.
  • Making Mummies [Paladin]. Quest: Play 5 Reborn minions. Reward: Emperor Wraps
  • Raid the Sky Temple [Mage]. Quest: Cast 10 spells. Reward: Ascendant Scroll.
  • Supreme Archaeology [Warlock]. Quest: Draw 20 cards. Reward: Tome of Origination
  • Unseal the Vault [Hunter]. Quest: Summon 20 minions. Reward: Ramkahen Roar.

Plague Cards

Scheme cards were added to the game with Rise of Shadows. In this set, Plagues have been introduced - spells unique to the League of EVIL classes themed around the destruction of minions:

  • Plague of Death. 9 Mana. Silence and destroy all minions.
  • Plague of Murlocs. 3 Mana. Transform all minions into random Murlocs.
  • Plague of Madness 1 Mana. Each player equips a 2/2 Knife with Poisonous.
  • Plague of Wrath. 5 Mana. Destroy all damaged minions.
  • Plague of Flames. 1 Mana. Destroy all your minions. For each one, destroy a random enemy minion.
