Fried Chicken
Fried Chicken is an admin-triggered weather event that usually occurs before major game updates.
During this event, the Cooked Owl will appear and rain fried chicken legs onto gardens. Crops in your garden have a chance to obtain Fried Mutation.
To increase your chances of experiencing this event, it’s advisable to join the game approximately an hour before an update.
Pets with Fried Mutation
You can acquire a Pet Shard Fried by completing cooking quests for the Chris P NPC during the cooking event.
Pet Shard Fried
The Pet Shard Fried has a 1% drop chance from Chris P. Apply this shard to any of your pets to transform it into a Fried Pet.
Once activated, this pet will periodically attempt to apply the Fried Mutation to nearby crops.
However, success is not guaranteed, as the pet’s ability has a 22% success rate based on game code analysis. Higher-tier plants might have a slightly improved success rate.
Mutation Spray Fried
The Mutation Spray Fried is another reward you can get from Chris P’s cooking quests.
This is a single-use item that instantly applies the Fried Mutation to the selected crop. It’s recommended to reserve this spray for high-value or rare crops to maximize your profits.
Despite its value multiplier, the Fried Mutation has limited utility beyond simply increasing crop value. Grow a Garden Fried Mutation can be combined with the Clay mutation, alongside other specific mutations, to create the Ceramic Mutation, which has a higher multiplier of x30.
