Grow a Garden Glimmering Mutation applies a distinct visual effect to your crops, making them appear neon pink and bubblegum-like with a glowing aura. You’ll also notice a pulsating pink wave effect emitting from the plant every few seconds.
How to Get Grow a Garden Glimmering Mutation
Fairies Weather Event
Fairies weather event occurs automatically every hour and lasts for 10 minutes. This is considered the most common and reliable method.
During this window, fairies (or butterflies) will fly into your garden and enchant random crops, applying the Glimmering mutation.
Glimmering Sprite
This pet offers the most consistent mutations outside of event hours. It can be obtained from Enchanted Eggs with an approximate 5% hatch chance.
Once acquired, the Glimmering Sprite will fly to a nearby fruit and enchant it, applying the Grow a Garden Glimmering Mutation every ~3:38 minutes.
Roaming Fairies
These fairies appear randomly across the map or in the lobby. Interacting with them will send them to your garden, where they will apply the Glimmering mutation to a random crop. They provide guaranteed mutations when found.
Mutation Spray Glimmering
This item provides direct control over which crops receive the mutation.
You can obtain it as a reward from Wishing Well tasks. Alternatively, it can be crafted at the crafting station located near the gear shop.
The crafting recipe requires 1x Cleaning Spray, 1x Daffodil Seed, 1x Orange Tulip Seed, 1 Mango, and 1 Million Sheckles.
Pet Shard Glimmering
This method allows you to transform existing pets into sources of the Glimmering mutation.
The Pet Shard Glimmering is a Divine gear added during the Fairy Event. It is the ninth pet shard. It can be obtained as a reward from the Wishing Well, typically at Tier 3 reward or higher, with the chance increasing at higher reward tiers.
The shard, which has a bright pink hue, applies the Glimmering mutation to a selected pet. A pet enchanted with the Glimmering Pet Shard will then apply the Glimmering mutation to nearby plants every 24 minutes.
Grow a Garden Glimmering Mutation: Value Multiplier
While primarily serving as an event mechanic, Grow a Garden Glimmering Mutation does offer a 5x sell value multiplier for affected crops. However, its main significance lies in its utility for the Fairy Event.
This mutation can be applied to any plant, even if it already has another mutation. To confirm if a plant has the Glimmering mutation, simply check for the word ‘Glimmering’ listed alongside its name.
