The Evony Coronation Fountain is located below the wall whilst in your keep. This feature came into mainstream Evony on the 7th of March 2025, although was available for approximately one year before this on newer servers.
Benefits of the Coronation Fountain
The Evony Coronation Fountain is a building that does not require upgrading – although if you enter the building, there is lots of upgrades to be made.
As you can see in the image above, there is 6 glowing circles – each represent a “blessed relic”. Each of these relics give 3 different types of buffs. The Evony Coronation Fountain is a great source of buffs for this reason, as it even offers increases to flat refines – which is particularly rare in Evony.
Relic Buffs Explained
Each relic has unique buffs, so it is essential you understand the buffs of each relic in order to plan your upgrades.
Hephaestus’s Craftsmanship – Buffs Explained
This relic will see an increase in Troops HP, Research Speed, and Construction Speed. It is potentially a great first pick due to the wide use of the buffs, and that this is cheaper to upgrade that the other relics (although more on that later).
1 20 Selected Level: 1 All Troops HP: 0.5% Research Speed: 1.5% Construction Speed: 1.5%Demeter's Vitality - Buffs Explained
This relic will increase your In-Rally Troop HP, Resource Production, and Troops Load. Not the strongest of buff increases, but a very interesting aspect is that the In-Rally Troop HP buff is a flat buff.
We will be adding further information once we have it.
Apollo's Precision - Buffs Explained
This relic will increase your Troops Defense, Training Capacity, and Subordinate City Training Speed. Not the strongest of relics, but the troops defense increase is always a very welcomed buff.

Zeus's Might - Buffs Explained
This relic will increase your Troops Attack, March Speed, and Resource Gathering Speed. The relic buff is the strongest for alt accounts due to the march speed allowing you to get into / return from rallies faster, and the resource gathering speed being an obvious boost your resources. For a main account, no one will shy away from troops attack, and march speed is always nice too. One of the stronger relics.

Aceso's Compassion - Buffs Explained
This relic is the strongest - it offers a flat increase to In-Rally Ranged Attack, and percentage based increase in healing speed, and ranged Troop HP. Personally, I am a big fan of anything that reduces healing speed. The flat increase in In-Rally Ranged Attack is also great when maxed out, as it is effectively a 5-10% buff for ranged troops at a high level, but makes your lower ranged troops much more effective.
Originally, when this first came out instead of ranged troop HP increase, it offered a reduction in healing cost. This meant that if you maxed out all of your technology, and got this relic to level 10, healing cost zero resources. This was changed on the 8th of March, 2025.

Poseidon's Command - Buffs Explained
This relic provides a flat increase to in-rally siege machine HP, as well as percentage-based buffs to march speed to monsters and troops attack on monsters. The latter two buffs being great if you are the monster-hunter in your team, although pretty useless if not. What is particularly interesting about this relic is the in-rally siege machine HP being flat - whilst siege HP is already a buff that is hard to debuff against, introducing a new source of flat refines for the Siege Machine extends the difficulty of debuff Siege HP - since flats can't be debuffed, and % Siege HP is already a tough debuff.

How to get Sacrificial Coins
There are currently two ways for all players to obtain Sacrificial Coins for the Evony Coronation Fountain relic upgrades: Packs and Daily Login. On newer servers, there may be a way to earn Sacrificial Coins by completing quests.
Obtaining Sacrificial Coins through Packs
As with anything in Evony, Sacrifical Coins can be bought in packs for real money. This not-so-micro-transaction will grant you 80 Sacrificial Coins (although you can use double / triple down coupons) at the cost of 100 USD. Due to the high cost for these coins, ensure you properly plan out your relic upgrades to maximize buffs that are relevant to you.
Daily Login during Event
Sacrificial Coins may be available to claim as part of your daily login during an event - its worth ensuring you claim these in order to allow you to max out your buffs for free!
Completing Quests
This is only available on new servers, but you can complete quests in order to receive Sacrificial Coins. For example, quests may include gathering a certain number of food, or building a level one farm. Quests are split into chapters, and for completing each chapter you gain a bonus number of Sacrificial Coins.

- Upgrade Zeus's Might to level 20
- Upgrade Hephaestu's Craftmanship to level 20
- Upgrade Apollo's Precision to level 20
- Upgrade Poseidon's Command to level 20
- Upgrade Demeter's Vitality to level 20
