The Evony All-Stars campaign is in several steps, the first being the qualifying rounds:
Step 1: Qualifying Rounds
The qualifiers BOC Season for All-Stars is called BOC Ultimate in Evony. This usually requires scoring an average score over 4 rounds while ensuring that your team consistently ranks in Top 500 for your continent for the scores to count. The average score varies between continent, but aiming for an average of 20k points per round is a good benchmark for continents 4-6, and an average of 25k points per round is a good benchmark for continents 1-3 – although these can vary, and will increase over time as continents get older. These 4 crucial rounds determine your placement within Top 400 Players of your continent to qualify for All-Stars Season.
Credit: Thanks to Cier for this table on AS Season 14 Round 1 ScoresAbove is a table displaying the scores required for round 1 in All-Stars Season 14. As you can see the scores tend to be quite a lot higher on the older continents, as opposed to the new ones. Whilst these scores go past the initial recommendation, history has shown that often round 1 scores are inflated than the rest of the rounds.
Note that there are three All-Star leagues, in ascending order these are: Junior (ranking 801-1200), Elite (401-800), and All-Star (1-400). This guide will focus on the All-Star / top 400 league – although the strategies and recommendations are equally applicable to the other two leagues.
Step 2: All-Stars Rounds
The Evony All-Stars Season consists of 3 rounds: Prelims, Semis and Finals where players are divided into 4 Groups (A-D) and each group then is subdivided into 4 teams (Eagles, Stallion, Bear and Lions) resulting in 4 parallel matches with 100 players in each which is based on seeding of players within the Top 400 Ranking as well as their team’s total Power.
Prelims and Semi Finals Rounds
Qualifying through the Prelims Round gets you a Dragon Egg or All-Stars Coins that can be used to claim different rewards in the All Stars Shop. But, this usually is the most useful reward in the game as it allows you to get a permanent dragon which helps you progress further in the game.
Progressing through each round is dependent on your team ranking. The first placed team in each match is guaranteed a minimum of 20 qualifiers, 2nd placed is guaranteed a minimum of 15, 3rd placed is guaranteed a minimum of 5, and 4th placed has no guarantees. This makes it imperative to play with your teams ranking as a priority, as the better your team ranks, the better chance you have of qualifying to the next round.
The prelims round qualifies 200 players total out of the 400 that play this round and the players then move into Semis which is played the same way as Prelims but the permanent reward changes from Dragon to a Castle decoration by qualifying for Finals.
Depending on where you place, you will also gain Galaxy Coins – these can be redeem in the All-Star Battlefield Shop for the likes of dragons, generals, and keep decorations.
Step 3: Finals Round
Check the in-game event rules for specific tasks and challenges. The final round for Season 14 (the current season as this guide was released in November 2024) is set to take place on the 15th of December from 1-3PM GMT+0.
Tips for Evony All-Stars
Optimize Your Troop Composition
A powerful army is your backbone in All-Stars. Here’s how to maximize your troops:
- Focus on High-Tier Units: Ensure you have strong, high-tier troops (Tier 10 or above).
- Balance Your Army: Mix infantry, cavalry, archers, and siege units to cover all bases. In continents 1-3, ensure you have a high amount of ranged and siege units as these will be the two most prevalent type of rallies used in all 3 rounds. For continents 4-6, ensure you still have a good amount of siege, but range and cavalry units be used more. Ground rallies will be rare in Evony All-stars, and as such are not a priority when training your troops
- Focus on March Size Buff: The biggest factor in personal scoring is the amount of troops you have in a march
- Upgrade and Train: Keep your troops upgraded and train new ones regularly to maintain a competitive edge.
Maximize Resources & Prepare Speeds
Resource gathering is a major factor in Evony All-Stars. Optimize your resource production to ensure you’re always ready. Speedups, specifically common and healing speedups, will be imperative for your Evony All-Stars campaign. It is common-place to use upwards of 40,000 days in any given round of All-Stars as people will be competitive to acquire dragons and castles.
Coordinate with Your Team
Teamwork is vital in Evony All-Stars. Here’s how to enhance your team’s effectiveness:
- Communicate Regularly: Share coordinates of enemy targets, share coordinates of your teammates who are currently being rallied by enemies, and ensure that you have alliance war settings turned off if you are not the designated rally setter.
- Delegate Roles: Assign specific tasks to team members – have a few players designated to hold portals to ensure your team has mobility throughout the battlefield, a few players watching alliance war to ensure that your team is defensively alert and can reinforce accordingly, and have 1-2 players with the highest rally hall sizes as the rally-setters so that most of your team can join the rally.
- Provide Reinforcements: Help out fellow members under attack with reinforcements.
Upgrade Your City and Research
Your city’s infrastructure and research levels can have a major impact on your performance during All-Stars:
- Prioritize Key Buildings: Upgrading the Rally spot is key to maximizing your march size, and ensure your military academy is maxed out if possible to have max march size and buffs. Siege and range buffs will be the most important for those in continents 1-3, and range/cav buffs in continents 4-6. Ideally, an embassy large enough to hold at least 40m reinforcements in continents 4-6, and in continents 1-3, minimum 55m reinforcement size.
Stay Active During the Event
Active participation is essential. Regularly check your teams scoreboard and change your attacking targets to ensure that you are not constantly focused on one team, which may lead to donating too many points to one team. For example, if your original plan is to target Bear, but they are starting to gain a big lead in points due to them taking defensive hits, change targets.
Final Thoughts on Evony All-Stars
Success in Evony All-Stars is about careful preparation, teamwork, and strategic execution. By optimizing your troops, managing resources, and coordinating with your team, you can boost your chances of victory. Stay active, communicate with your team, and adjust your strategy as needed. Good luck in the Evony All-Stars competition – may your tactics lead you to the top!

P.S. One final tip from Chazz – playing battlefield on PC is generally a much better experience, as you can see more and interact faster. There is definitely a learning curve / adjustment period, but if you can get used to it then it is great. There is some debate about the games terms of service when you download the PC version, ill leave that up to you to decide, but personally I love playing battlefield on PC.
