There are lots of shady deals going down in Star Wars Outlaws and the Crimson Dawn seems to be behind most of them. We are talking about how they trade using Counterfeit Credits. That’s right, they have found a way to print their own currency and it is being spread about Mirogana. You might want to get to the bottom of it. Should you warn the Crimson Dawn or tell the Pykes about the Counterfeit Credits in Star Wars Outlaws?

Counterfeit Credits quest walkthrough

To get the Counterfeit Credits quest, you will need to speak to the Merchant to the southeast of the Crimson Dawn District. This merchant is named Hen Puon and he resides in between the Crimson Dawn and Pyke Districts in Mirogana. If you have good standing with the Pykes and sell him an item, he will give you some Counterfeit Credits. This will start the quest.

With the quest started, make your way over to the Crimson Dawn District in the northern part of Mirogana. If you have good standing with the faction, you can walk in through the Market District near where Eleera waits. If you don’t have good standing with the faction, you will need to sneak in via a vent to the left of the main entrance.

✓ Pro Tip

Even if you are in good standing with the Crimson Dawn, you will not be allowed in the restricted section of the district. Make sure to sneak around because you will lose your reputation if you are caught in an area you aren’t allowed.

Follow both pathways to reach the central part of the district. Here, you will see a ramp with two guards. This leads to a restricted section of the district. You can access the restricted section via some ledges to the right of where the ramp is.

Once you get into the restricted section, make your way to the other side of it and locate the lever that powers the fan in the area. Have Nix hold the lever down for you while you climb through the fan. Follow this pathway to a ladder that leads down. Climb down the ladder and you will find the case of Credits behind the table below. Once you have found the Credits, you will get the option of what you want to do with the information.

You can choose to tell Eleera about the Counterfeit Credits or let the Pykes know about the operation.

Should you warn the Crimson Dawn or tell the Pykes about the Counterfeit Credits?

As with most choices in the game, you will mainly be choosing who you want to side with to get a reputation increase. As the game is all about reputation, this will have an effect on what missions you get from either faction.

We recommend telling Eleera about the Counterfeit Credits. The boost to reputation is pretty great and if you are in low standing with the Crimson Dawn, it will help you get on their good side. Since you need to have good standing with the Pykes to get this mission, you won’t take much of a hit for not telling them about it.
