When does the Star Citizen free trial start?

The Star Citizen free trial, named the Star Citizen Free Fly event, is set to begin on 17 November 2023. While no specific start date has been provided thus far, previous start times suggest that the event is likely to begin at at 16:00 UTC (11AM Eastern / 8AM Pacific). The event will last around two weeks, concluding with the end of the event on 30 November 2023 and ending the trial for this year.

The Free Fly trial event is completely free to join, requiring you to simply sign up with username and password for a free Star Citizen account on the game’s official website. Armed with your new account, the trial will allow players login to free rein of the game’s more than 100 ships. Players will not be required to pay for any of them, being able to try each of them out for free during the two week event.
