Over in the Zaton region of the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone is an abandoned rail yard that’s ripe for exploring and looting. While it’s seen better days, in the southwestern corner is a guard house holding a stash that’s barred by a keypad and firmly locked green iron gate. That only means one thing: a stash with loot.

There’s no handy note to pick up or a PDA lying around to sift through for clues about how to get the code. It doesn’t help that several Bloodsuckers prowl the area. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to get the Railway Maintenance Facility code in Stalker 2.

Where to find the Railway Maintenance Facility code in Stalker 2

To unlock the keypad in the Railway Maintenance Facility, use the code 2468. To get code, you’ll need to find the numbers etched in white on the trains and vehicles scattered around the rail yard. These numbers are then entered into the keypad starting from the one in the northeastern corner and working clockwise to the final one in the northwest of the facility. Here’s where you can find each of the numbers:

  • The first number is written on the side of a rusty green rail car in the northeastern corner of the facility. The number is 2.
  • The second number is found on the roof of a small brick hut southeast of the first in the east of the facility. There’s a stack of concrete blocks you can use to reach the gangways in the center of the facility to view the roof from above. The number is 4.
  • The third is found on a rusty, yellow excavator just southeast of the brick hut not far from the blue and yellow dumper truck. The number is 6.
  • The final and fourth number is on the side of a green rail car almost in the center of the Railway Maintenance Facility. The marked number is 8.

Head back to the hut with the locked gate. Type 2468 into the keypad and hit the green Enter button to unlock the gate. Inside, you’ll find a PSZ-5L Hawk suit and a stash containing Cossacks Vodka, bandages, medkits, and 5.45x39mm PS ammo. Though not in the stash, there’s also the SOFMOD unique weapon you can pick up in the building in the south of the facility. It’s an assault rifle decked out with some meaty attachments and a worthwhile to take on Zaton and the Swamps.
