This evolution item is how you can evolve your Duraludon into the new Archaludon.
There’s plenty more to see in the new Indigo Disk while you take on the challenges in Blueberry Academy. From trials for the Elite Four like making a spicy sandwich, to something simple like changing your throwing style. One of the most fun is evolving Pokemon into new creatures, and with Indigo Disk Duraludon gets a big evolution. How do you get the Metal Alloy you need to evolve him? We’re here to show you how.
How to purchase Metal Alloy
Metal Alloy has a few places you can pick it up from, but the easiest is to buy it from the School Store. Head to any of the turnstiles near the main desk and choose to visit the School Store. Speak to the shopkeeper there to bring up all the items you can buy. You can find Metal Alloy in the list, where it costs 300 BP.
To get BP, or Blueberry Points, you can complete Blueberry Quests around the academy and build up enough points. Getting 300 can take a bit of time, but it’s well worth it to evolve Duraludon.
✓Getting Blueberry Points
300 Blueberry Points can be tough to work up to if you’re just starting out. The fastest way to obtaining them is by catching specific Pokemon and travelling distances on Miraidon or Koraidon, which is what we’d recommend for earning them.
It’s important to note that you can’t access the School Store until you’ve met Carmine. After she brings you to your new dorm, you’ll be free to wander around the academy. This is also when you can start visiting the store.
Where to find Metal Alloy
If you don’t feel like spending your hard-earned Blueberry Points, you can also find free Metal Alloy out in Chargestone Cavern. Enter the cavern, which can be found along where the Canyon Biome meets the Polar Biome.
Image taken by VideogamerOnce you’ve gotten to the cave, work your way up to the highest level. At the very top, you’ll find a Red Pokeball next to a big Tera Crystal. There is also a Tera Porygon nearby, so once you find this, you know you’re in the right spot. Simply pick up the Pokeball and inside will be one Metal Alloy for you to use on your Duraludon.
Once you’ve got the Metal Alloy, once you’ve bought it or found it, you can use it to evolve your Duraludon into the new Archaludon.
That’s everything you need to know about where to find Metal Alloy in Pokemon Indigo Disk. Be sure to check out how to evolve other Pokemon, like evolving Inkay into Malamar and evolving Dipplin into Hyrdrapple.
