How to catch Beldum in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC

If you want to catch Beldum, you must travel to the Polar Biome of the Terarium. Beldum actually spawns in quite a few areas around the Polar Biome but we mostly found this Pokemon in the mountains near where the Polar and Canyon Biomes meet.

Since Beldum is rarely seen, it will probably take a while to find it. Take this opportunity to complete some Blueberry Quests and earn some extra BP. Once you find Beldum, be sure to have a Pokemon that knows False Swipe to prevent the Pokemon from fainting during battle.

Beldum will be encountered between levels 50 and 70 so it will be quite powerful from the get-go. You will need Ultra Balls and Timer Balls if you want to catch it.

How to evolve Beldum in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC

To evolve Beldum, you simply need to level it up. Under normal circumstances, Beldum evolves into Metang at level 20. Metang then evolves into Metagross at level 45. Since you will catch this Pokemon above level 45, you only need to level up Beldum once to make it evolve. The same can be said for Metang so that you can get Metagross.

Beldum and its evolutions are psychic and steel-type Pokemon. This means they are weak to fire, ground, ghost, and dark-type moves. These Pokemon are restistant to normal, grass, ice, flying, psychic, rock, dragon, steel, and fairy-type moves.
