Best Pokemon to Synchronize with in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk DLC
We have compiled a list of the best Pokemon that you can sync with in the game. We consider these the best based on their movement style, speed, and how much we enjoyed using them.
- Walking Wake
- Blastoise
- Iron Treads / Donphan
- Gholdengo
- Zapdos / Galarian Zapdos
- Inteleon
- Varoom
This list is in no particular order. Be sure to check out each of these Pokemon if you can cause they are all worth syncing with. Let’s break down why this is below.
✓The basics of syncing
To sync with your Pokemon, start by tossing it out. While it is free roaming, hold the L button and press the R button. This will sync you with your Pokemon. While synced, you can battle other Pokemon just like how your Pokemon would using auto battle.
Walking Wake
Image by VideoGamerWalking Wake is a massive Pokemon that moves quickly and can easily bulldoze any Pokemon that gets in its way. The best thing about this Pokemon is that, just like the name implies, it can walk on water. This opens up a new means of travel being able to freely transition from land to water without any awkward missteps.
Blastoise
Blasetoise is one of the original Gen 1 Pokemon that finally makes a return in the Blueberry Academy Terarium. This large Pokemon is just fun to play in the water with because it can use its jets to propel itself quickly across the surface. While Blastoise is slow on land, it more than makes up for it by being a speed demon in the water.
Iron Treads / Donphan
Image by VideoGamerIron Treads is just… Mesmerizing to watch roll around across the different biomes. This Pokemon is exclusive to Pokemon Violet players but you can still get your own version in Scarlet. Donphan and Iron Treads are both very quick across all terrain but the best part is watching the pattern of the trunk spin as it moves.
Gholdengo
Gholdengo brought in a lot of criticism thanks to its look when players first discovered it in the Paldea region. Now, players are thankful that it has the golden snowboard. Why? Because you can travel down steep mountains like you are playing 1080 Snowboarding. If you have Gholdengo, head to the top of the Polar Biome and try out this sync option now.
Zapdos / Galarian Zapdos
Image by VideoGamerZapdos makes for a fun Pokemon to sync with that allows you to see the Terarium in a new way. That is until you unlock the fly ability for Miraidon or Koraidon. Of course, it is still nice to fly around the lands with this majestic electric-type Pokemon. The real fun comes if you have Galarian Zapdos because it doesn’t fly. Instead, it runs around the land like a Chocobo from Final Fantasy. You can finally bring Midgar to Pokemon.
Inteleon
Inteleon is probably the fastest Pokemon in the game to sync with. Well, if you are traveling in the water. This Pokemon can rapidly move from the central plaza to any other fast travel point, making them pretty much useless. Zip past trainers in the overworld and perform the perfect front stroke.
Varoom
Image by VideoGamerThere isn’t a speed stat for how fast a Pokemon moves in the overworld but if there was Varoom would be the fastest. Surprisingly, its evolved form moves much slower. Thanks to this Pokemon, you can rapidly fly across the map and pick up items with record speed. Take Varoom to the top of the Polar Biome and watch as it goes fast enough to look out over the whole Terarium before reaching the ground.
That is the best Pokemon to synchronize with in Pokemon Indigo Disk. Be sure to check out All the Pokemon trainer locations in Pokemon Indigo Disk. You can also check out the Pokemon Indigo Disk Postgame Checklist to make sure you don’t miss anything.
