This guide will show you how to evolve Galarian Slowpoke in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the Indigo Disk.

How to evolve Galarian Slowpoke in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC

To evolve Galarian Slowpoke, you need to collect Galarica Twigs and have them turned into either a Galarica Wreath or a Galarica Cuff. Give that item to Galarian Slowpoke and it will either evolve into Galarian Slowbro or Galarian Slowking. Giving Slowpoke the Wreath will evolve it into Slowking and giving Slowpoke the cuff will evolve it into Slowbro. Let’s break down the different steps to obtaining these Pokemon:

Where to find Galarica Twigs in Pokemon Indigo Disk

To obtain Galarica Twigs, you need to go to the Coastal Biome of the Terarium. Once there, go to the beach to the north of the Coastal Plaza.

All along this beach, you will find Galarica Twigs. You have a chance of getting a twig each time you pick up one of the sparkling items on this Slowpoke Beach. In our experience, we were only able to collect around eight Galarica Twigs at one time. Depending on which evolution you want to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into, you will either need eight or 15 of these twigs. If you don’t get them all right away, leave and come back in about 30 minutes.

How to get the Galarica Cuff and the Galarica Wreath

Once you have either eight or 15 of the Galarica Twigs, bring them to the Coastal Plaza near the beach area you just were. This is also the place where you will fight Lacey of the Elite Four. Here, you will find an NPC with a yellow text balloon. They can be found standing near the vending machines in the main section of the platform.

Speak to this NPC and they will offer to make you the Galarica Cuff or the Galarica Wreath. The cuff requires eight Galarica Twigs and the Galarica Wreath requires 15 Galarica Twigs. These items have the following effect on Galarian Slowpoke.

  • Galarica Cuff – Evolves Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro
  • Galarica Wreath – Evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowking

No matter which evolution you go with, both will be poison and psychic-type Pokemon. Galarian Slowking will be able to learn its signature move Eerie Spell. Galarian Slowbro will be able to learn its signature move Shell Side Arm. For the purposes of the DLC, Galarian Slowbro seems to be the better choice and the one we went with but you can get both.
