Here’s our Payday 3 99 Boxes stealth guide for those bored of going loud.

Unlike the other heists in Payday 3, 99 Boxes takes place in a shipping yard in which you do an elaborate robbery on the Wixia company. Alongside that, we’d recommend that you get rigged up on the best stealth build especially if you’re challenging this guide on a difficulty level higher than Normal.

How to get into the 99 Boxes warehouse

Honestly, getting into the warehouse is fairly easy, however there’s some important things you’re going to want to do before you get inside. You’re going to spawn facing the warehouse, and there’s going to be two phones you’re going to want to hack before you enter. On the east is a single guard in a courtyard. Head on over there, then creep behind him. There are two cameras that you’re going to want to avoid, so when you’ve found a good spot to begin the hack, go ahead. Personally, any time I tried this, I begun the hack, then the guard would move slightly making my position much less effective. However, if the guard does spot you, allow him to walk you out of the park, and the hack will continue.

After you’ve hacked the phone from the east side, head over to the west side and do the same on the guard over there. Unlike the other, once you’ve grabbed this phone, you’re going to want to stay in the area. As a side note, you won’t need the QR codes just yet, but they will come in handy.

Towards the entrance is a staircase that will take you up into the warehouse. Lockpick the door, then head inside. There’s a security camera right up ahead of you, so take care getting inside here.

How to set up the refrigerated truck in Payday 3

There’s going to be a few things you need to do here. One of them involves hacking a PC that’s hidden away in a work-room. Do this, and you’ll find out what shipping bay you’re going to be heisting.

You’re also going to want to prepare the refrigerated truck. On the lower floor of the building, you’re going to find a truck that you can place a liquid nitrogen tank in. Locate the tank, which will be in a wooden container lying around. Pick it up and place it in the truck to prepare your getaway.

After this, head back to the entrance and you’ll find a vent with. You’re going to find the vent just below the first security camera, open it up and mask up. Crawl through it and find a zipwire in a bag at the end. You’re going to take this out the door you just came through and then you’re going to use it to get over to the other side of the level.

Now, things will get a little tougher. There’s going to many more guards here, and for good reason.

Have a rumble around for some of the quest items that are needed. These involve high tech components, and can be found in most shipping containers that are painted white. Some of them will have QR code scanners, which you’re going to have already collected at the start of the heist. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail, and all of that.

Just like we saw in the Under the Surphaze heist, you’re going to need to finish a little mini-game here that can be a little draining. You’re going to need to hover in the designated zones for long enough to finish opening the doors, which is going to be a little annoying. However, once you’ve completed that, you’re going to have access to the high tech components. You’re going to need to take them back to the truck, but you’re not going to have long at all.

Run back to the truck with them, which is a lot easier if you’ve got some teammates. You’re going to need to repeat this whole cycle for all of the high-tech items in the heist, and then you’re done.

This heist, unlike some of the others in Payday 3, lacks some of the quality and charm that made the others so fun. However, this one is particularly good for farming XP and also for making money fast.
