Though you can get reasonably far into Once Human relying solely on Copper Ore for your crafting needs, there comes a point when you’ll need to ramp up production of Bronze Ingots to make Tier II weapons and gear. For that, you’ll need Tin Ore, a resource that’s pretty hard to come by in the starting Dayton Wetlands region.
We’ll walk you through how to get Tin and share a solid farming location you can keep visiting as and when you need more of the stuff. For more early game help, check out our top tips and tricks and brush up on how to get Copper.
Tin spawns in Broken Delta. Captured by VideoGamerWhere to get Tin in Once Human
To get Tin, you’ll need to mine Tin Ore nodes located in Broken Delta, the game’s second major region. It’s the area just east of the starting Dayton Wetlands and includes the Meyer’s Market hub, which you’ll reach by following the main story quest and beating the Ravenous Hunter boss in the Monolith of Greed.
Forests, roadsides, underdeveloped areas – these are all common Tin spawn areas. Captured by VideoGamerTin Ore nodes appear as normal rocks dotted with shiny, silvery chunks of metal dotting their surface. They are very similar in appearance to Copper Ore other than the silver chunks protruding out of them. To mine a Tin Ore, you’ll need a pickaxe. Approach the node and tap F. You meta-human will mine the node, depositing the Tin in your inventory.
The nodes spawn throughout the region, typically away from settlements, buildings, and other points of interest. You’re never too far from one, so aim for a nearby forest, road, or stretch of undeveloped land and you’ll stumble into Tin Ore before long. The nodes also respawn very quickly, so you can keep returning to the same spot at regular intervals for a steady supply.
Head northeast on the run out of Meyer’s Market. Captured by VideoGamerTin farm location
One of the best places to farm Tin in Broken Delta is next to the road running northeast out of Meyer’s Market. We’ve pinpointed the spot in the image above. On either side of the road, you’ll find over 20 Tin nodes to mine, netting you just shy of 1000 Tin per run. If you teleport away from the area and come back, all the nodes will respawn within a few minutes.
Plenty of Tin to farm. Captured by VideoGamerAs it’s right next to Meyer’s Market, you have a Teleportation Tower right next door for easy access to the farming spot. It also has the added benefit of several other types of nodes, including Copper, Sulfur, and good ol’ standard rocks should you need them.
