Is MW3 (2023) on last gen consoles?

Modern Warfare 3 (2023) will be available to play on last gen consoles when it launches. This means if you own a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you can still play MW3 on November 10.

This was confirmed by the official Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 blog as well as the official Xbox website and PlayStation Store. A PlayStation teaser trailer for the game also confirmed that it’ll be available for PS4.

After the recent gameplay showcase at Gamescom 2023, some speculated that last gen consoles may not be able to run the game but these speculations are false. So if you own a last-gen console, prepare to face the ultimate antagonist Makarov in MW3.

With that said, Modern Warfare 3 (2023) will launch on November 10 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Battle.net, and Steam.
