Wondering what the MW2 faction showdown event rewards are? We’ve got you covered. This event will be the latest in-game event available in both multiplayer and battle royale as part of MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 5.

And with the new season just around the corner, we have the MW2 and Warzone Season 5 weapons list that you can check out to see all the new arrivals. There will be new Operators as well, but for now, let’s take you through the MW2 faction showdown event rewards. 

MW2 faction showdown event rewards

You will receive unique cosmetics and blueprints as rewards for completing each step of the event. Below is a list of all the rewards that you can claim for yourself from the shadow event: 

  • Complete the main challenge – Calling card and emblem
  • Complete Faction challenges – Earn battle pass tier skips and vehicle skins
  • Complete all Faction challenges – Earn a weapon blueprint

You can unlock these exclusive rewards by successfully completing all five challenges of a Faction in the event. 

Ultimately, the faction (Task Force 141 or Shadow Company) that prevails in the event by achieving the highest number of community Operator kills in the main Challenge will earn an extra reward.

This extra reward will be an Operator Skin, either for Soap or Horangi, depending on the victorious team. You will also be given a universal weapon camouflage and a one-hour Double Battle Pass XP Token.

MW2 faction showdown event start date

The event will kick off on August 4 and conclude on August 16 2023, giving players twelve days to take part in the event and to claim as many rewards as they can within this time frame.
